Águeda Del Borgo as its 2024 REALTOR® of the Year

Cranston, Rhode Island – The Greater Providence Board of REALTORS® (GPBOR) proudly announces that Águeda Del Borgo, Broker/Owner of Places & Spaces Realty, LLC, has been honored as its 2024 REALTOR® of the Year. This prestigious award recognizes a GPBOR member who has demonstrated exceptional commitment to the real estate industry, adherence to the REALTOR® Code of Ethics, and a dedication to community service.

Del Borgo, who holds accredited designations including At Home with Diversity (AHWD), Commitment to Excellence (C2EX), and Short Sales & Foreclosure Resource (SFR), is celebrated for her leadership within the local, state, and national REALTOR® associations. Del Borgo served as the 2019 GPBOR President and was its LEAR Award recipient. Most recently, her commitment to community and charitable causes has been highlighted in her role as  2024 Chair of the GPBOR C.A.R.E Board of Directors.

In addition to having served in various leadership roles and committees with GPBOR, she also served as the 2022 President of the Rhode Island Association of REALTORS® (RIAR), where she played a pivotal role in advocating for fair housing and educating the public on market trends. Currently, she serves as the 2024 Chair of the RIAR Nominating Committee and its Global Committee.

At the National level, Del Borgo serves as the 2024 Vice Chair of NAR’s Global Business and Alliances Committee and was recently appointed as the Federal Political Coordinator to Representative Gabe Amo.

Beyond her professional achievements, Del Borgo is deeply involved in civic affairs and charitable initiatives. She serves on the Pawtucket Zoning Board of Appeals and has been a member of the Pawtucket Arts Panel. Águeda’s volunteer commitments have also included the Newman YMCA Swim Team, Habitat for Humanity, and the RI Coalition for the Homeless.
