GPBOR CARE FOUNDATION
GPBOR C.A.R.E. is a charitable foundation. Funds are raised for RI non-profits through donations from REALTORS®, Affiliates, sponsors, and donors like you. The funds are awarded annually through a grant application process. The 2028 grants will be available between 4/1/27 – 6/30/27.
GPBOR C.A.R.E. has selected the following charities for 2027:
Nathan’s Angels Memorial Foundation provides financial assistance to children in the nearby surrounding communities of Providence, RI. The foundation helps children under the age of 18 who have a critical cancer diagnosis and are in active treatment; Real Access Motivates Progress (RAMP’s) purpose is to educate and advocate for accessibility and inclusion. RAMP envisions a fully inclusive Rhode Island where every person, regardless of ability, has equitable access to homes, businesses, public spaces, and opportunities; and the REALTORS® Relief Foundation. Founded in the wake of the tragic 9-1-2001 attacks to assist those victims and their families, this charitable foundation of the National Association of REALTORS® is dedicated to providing housing-related assistance to victims of natural disasters.

Advancement Committee
The Foundation is always looking for volunteers to join its 2026 Advancement Committee, a group dedicated to driving awareness and supporting resource development for the GPBOR CARE Foundation. The estimated time commitment is 9 hours annually. Learn more here.
Cinco de Mayo – 2026 Fiesta for a Cause Update
Thanks to all who joined us on 5/7/26 at Azul Tequila Bar & Mexican Grill in Pawtucket. We raised $4,400 to benefit our adopted 2026 charities Amenity Aid, McAuley Village, and the REALTORS® Relief Foundation. Check out the photos here.

GPBOR C.A.R.E. is a 501C3 public charity, registered with the IRS. Established in 2013, our mission is to organize one or more events per year in order to collect and distribute charitable funds to RI non-profit organizations. Those organizations shall qualify as exempt organizations under section 501 (c-3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.

GPBOR C.A.R.E. raised $5,000 for each 2025 sponsored non-profit organization: the Mae Organization for the Homeless and the Empowerment Factory. CARE also presented a check for $2,500 to the REALTOR® Relief Foundation. Checks were presented at our annual meeting on 9/10/25.
