GPBOR CARE FOUNDATION
GPBOR C.A.R.E. is a charitable foundation. Funds are raised for RI non-profits through donations from REALTORS®, Affiliates, sponsors, and donors like you. The funds are awarded annually through a grant application process between 4/1 – 6/30.
GPBOR C.A.R.E. has selected the following charities for 2026: Amenity Aid, founded in 2013, whose mission is to end hygiene insecurity in Rhode Island by supplying essential hygiene products to individuals and families in need; McAuley Village, founded in 1975, they provide the basic needs of food, shelter, clothing, emotional support, and guidance to the most vulnerable in our community; and the REALTORS® Relief Foundation. Founded in the wake of the tragic 9-1-2001 attacks to assist those victims and their families, this charitable foundation of the National Association of REALTORS® is dedicated to providing housing-related assistance to victims of natural disasters.

Advancement Committee
The Foundation is always looking for volunteers to join its 2026 Advancement Committee, a group dedicated to driving awareness and supporting resource development for the GPBOR CARE Foundation. The estimated time commitment is 9 hours annually. Learn more here.

GPBOR C.A.R.E. is a 501C3 public charity, registered with the IRS. Established in 2013, our mission is to organize one or more events per year in order to collect and distribute charitable funds to RI non-profit organizations. Those organizations shall qualify as exempt organizations under section 501 (c-3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.

GPBOR C.A.R.E. raised $5,000 for each 2025 sponsored non-profit organization: the Mae Organization for the Homeless and the Empowerment Factory. CARE also presented a check for $2,500 to the REALTOR® Relief Foundation. Checks were presented at our annual meeting on 9/10/25.
