Cranston, Rhode Island – The Greater Providence Board of REALTORS® (GPBOR) proudly announces that Sally Hersey, a REALTOR® with Williams and Stuart Real Estate in Cranston, RI, has been honored as its 2026 REALTOR® of the Year. She will be honored at the GPBOR Annual Meeting and Installation of 2027 Officers and Directors on September 16, 2026, at a luncheon at the Squantum Association. Tickets are available here.
Hersey, a lifelong Rhode Islander, has been a member of the REALTOR® Association since 2006 and served as president of GPBOR (2018) and the Rhode Island Association of REALTORS® (2024). She is also a member of the Communications Committee of the National Association of REALTORS®. Hersey was instrumental in establishing the RI Chapter of CRS in 2012. She holds ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) and CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designations, and is licensed to practice real estate in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
Beyond her professional achievements, Hersey’s charitable work dates back decades and includes fundraising for breast cancer, animal rescues, Ronald McDonald House, food drives, A Wish Come True, Hospice, Alzheimer’s Association and Habitat for Humanity.
The REALTOR® of the Year Award annually recognizes a GPBOR member who has demonstrated exceptional commitment to the real estate industry, adherence to the REALTOR® Code of Ethics, and a dedication to community service.
