VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

All volunteers must be members in good standing, be committed to serving all members of the Board, and to adhere to the Bylaws & Policies by application of their signature below. Community Service Task Force
The Community Service Task Force strengthens the relationship between REALTORS® and the community while enhancing the image of REALTORS®.  It participates in community outreach volunteer efforts, such as Habitat for Humanity, REALTORS® are Good Volunteers Week, food, clothing and other drives and shall encourage community service of all members.

Housing Opportunities Committee

This committee will work to develop new programs, coalitions and partnerships that will position REALTORS® as leaders in expanding housing availability. It will also disseminate information on housing opportunity programs and encourage our members’ participation and collaboration through state and local initiatives. It encourages the adoption of Fair Housing principles, promotes the NAR Diversity Program and shall strive to collaboratively achieve goals outlined in the Board’s current Strategic Plan. REALTOR® Party Committee

Monitors local town meetings in their communities (zoning, planning, City Council) and advises the Association of local issues which impact the real estate industry.  Promotes NAR Calls to Action, assists with and participates in forums with legislative and quasi-legislative leaders and groups.  Educates members on advocacy and how it affects REALTORS® and private property rights.  Plans, participates, and mobilizes fundraising efforts to raise RPAC (REALTORS® Political Action Committee) contributions.  Members shall strive to collaboratively achieve goals outlined in the Board’s Strategic Plan.

Professional Development Committee

Develop educational seminars, including those for license re-certification, plan and coordinate general membership meetings, networking events, recommend new Technology for the Association and act as a resource in educating our members regarding current tools and trends. Members shall strive to collaboratively achieve goals outlined in the Board’s current Strategic Plan. Limited spots available.

Awards Task Force

A task force is a small group of members who will execute a short-term project. Members of this task force review the annual Circle of Sales Excellence Awards applications (the Board’s sales recognition program) in the first quarter of the year only. These volunteers also make recommendations for program updates and shall strive to collaboratively achieve goals outlined in the Board’s current Strategic Plan. Limited spots available.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee

This group shall make recommendations to our Board on advocating diversity in our community by cultivating awareness and inclusiveness through representation, education and outreach.  It shall strive to collaboratively achieve goals outlined in the Board’s current Strategic Plan.  Limited spots available.
