New Requirement for GPBOR REALTOR® Applicants

Effective 1/1/2023, all REALTOR® applicants for membership with the Greater Providence Board of REALTORS® will be required to complete NAR’s Fairhaven.realtor in addition to the new member orientation program and REALTOR® Code of Ethics class, within their first 120 days of membership. Fairhaven is a free, online immersive simulation program of the National Association of REALTORS® designed to help combat discrimination in US real estate markets. This requirement is applicable to both primary and secondary REALTOR® members and is separate from the 3-hour fair housing course licensees must complete for the Rhode Island DBR once every 2 years. If a REALTOR® applicant previously took this and it is verified with fairhaven.realtor, they would be exempt. There are no CEU’s associated with Fairhaven.
