The Greater Providence Board of REALTORS® is expected to receive 1 Director seat on the Board of Directors of the National Association of REALTORS® (3-year term: 2023 – 2025). If you are a primary REALTOR® member of GPBOR in good standing that is interested in having input into issues that affect your profession and the real estate industry, you may apply to serve as GPBOR’s representative by 8/4/22.

NAR also has a number of performance standards such as:
– Requiring all directors to complete an annual orientation and NAR fiduciary refresher module.
– Directors must serve on at least one (1) NAR committee, forum, or advisory group to stay informed on key policy positions to act as a local member resource.
– Directors must attend the NAR Legislative and NXT meetings in May and November.

Expenses: Greater Providence Board of REALTORS® will reimburse the GPBOR selected Director for expenses, such as transportation, lodging, and per diem for meals.

Candidate interviews with the GPBOR Nominating Committee will take place on Zoom in the morning of Wednesday 8/17/22.
Our Board of Directors will then vote to approve GPBOR’s NAR Director on 8/30/22.
