The Greater Providence Board of REALTORS® is currently reaching out to all members who have not completed their 3-hour course on the Code of Ethics of the NAR for the 6th triennial (1/1/2019 – 12/31/2021) asking them to send their certificate to us for review. This course is a requirement of the The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) for membership.

If you received our Wednesday emails or other form of communication from GPBOR, we do not have a certificate on file for you. You can also check your status through the member portal or call the office at (401) 274-8383 or at info@gprealtors.org.

Did you complete this course? If so, please email us your certificate as soon as possible to info@gprealtors.org.

If you agree that you did not complete this required course, please complete it by 12/31/21. Any members who have not completed the course and sent their certificate to us will be suspended on 1/1/22 in accordance with the REALTOR® Association’s Bylaws.

Here are some options for completing it:

1.      Take a Zoom class with us on 12/30/21 from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm. There is a cost but you will receive 3 CORE RI CEU’s.
2.      Take an online course through the National Association of REALTORS® here. Be prepared to sign in with your nar.realtor login credentials. There is no cost and no CEU’S are offered.
3.      Take an online course through our partner (CE Shop), by clicking HERESelect the “Code of Ethics: Good for your clients and your business” course. There is a nominal cost for the course, but it does offer RI continuing education credits. To register, you will need your 9-digit NRDS Member ID number.
