Our Directors prepared and adopted our 2020-2022 Strategic Plan the Fall of 2019.
Each Spring, the Board's Nominating Committee sends out an open call to all GPBOR members requesting annual Officer and Director nominations. Interested members are required to complete and submit this nomination form by May 15th. Applicants must be members in good standing with the Greater Providence Board of REALTORS® and must commit to the requirements of the position, distributed with the nomination form. The Nominating Committee reviews all forms received and may require nominee interviews. A Slate of Officers and Directors is then prepared by the committee for the following year. This Slate must be approved by the current Directors of the Board at their June meeting and then the general membership at our Annual Meeting in September. New Directors are required to complete a new Director orientation program and 2 online courses by December 31st of each year.
